5. Conclusion

Practical Applications


The experiment can tell us which acid affects the milk the most, and the result of mixing vinegar and milk is not desired in daily life. The industry can benefit from the findings as they can produce as much casein as possible from a certain amount of milk. By maximizing the usage of milk, they can cut costs when getting casein to make products.

Areas for further study

We used cider vinegar in out experiment, and it may be an interesting topic to analyse what kind of vinegar is most effective for producing casein. Another is that acidity aside, we are not completely sure why exactly the cider vinegar was so overwhelmingly effective considering the basis for vinegar is similar to that of wine.
